Wendy Katagi is a singer-songwriter and recording artist.  She started singing at a young age, growing up in her home church, singing in musicals, choirs, and special events.  During her college years, she studied vocal performance at University of California Irvine and sang on numerous recordings and toured with musical groups in England, Scotland, Wales, and Australia.  Wendy released her first album, "Rise in Hope Again" with producer, Tom Zink.  She wrote a number of songs including spiritual, Christmas, Easter, and inspirational songs about life, hope, faith, and family.  She has released many singles and albums such as "Heirlooms", "Spirit of Christmas”, and "Beautiful Christmas".  More recently, Wendy has written songs about nature, restoration, and recovery because of her work in conservation and  stewardship across communities and broad change leaders.  "Steelhead Run" is a movement song about the recovery of the endangered steelhead trout.  Wendy is a powerful voice in both the creative and environmental spheres where she influences arts, music, and cultural understandings of nature, ecology, and individual roles to inspire healing and wholeness--Wendy is affiliated with Broadcast Music Inc.
